CANVAS at CPDP 2018

On January 24th 2018, from 10.30-11.45, CANVAS hosted the panel “My data was compromised: how am I supposed to fix it? Data breach notification and privacy” at this year’s “Computers, Privacy & Data Protection” conference in Brussels (link to programme).

Dates of the CANVAS 2018 Workshops have been settled

In 2018, CANVAS will organize three workshops related to the three reference domains as follows:

  • April 24-25 2018, Regensburg, Germany: Workshop “Value-sensitive Cybersecurity in Health”
  • May 28-29 2018, Helsinki, Finland: Workshop “Towards a value-sensitive Cybersecurity Industry”
  • September 5-7 2018, Bern, Switzerland: Workshop “Value-sensitive Cybersecurity in National Security”

Paper on Cyberpeace published

End of 2017, the paper “Is Cyberpeace possible” by Markus Christen and Endre Bangerter has been published as part of the edited volume “The Nature of Peace and the Morality of Armed Conflict” (read more).

CANVAS at ETHICOMP 2018
